What was done to Jesus is what man does to God everyday. Jesus volunteers to save man, who cannot save himself, by becoming the most efficacious victim in the Mind of the Father. Jesus, in a way says, “Father, do not prevent them. I take this on voluntarily for them, that they may be healed and live through me, and be able to turn and offer the love to you that I offer to you in truth.” That we can eat of His sacrificial Substance is our only saving grace. When we pray the Sorrowful Mysteries, we should meditate on cleaning and dressing the Wounds of God, for surely we wound Him daily in our offenses.

I am a minor Catholic theologian - a graduate of the ever-faithful and orthodox Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom College. I grew up in Alabama and Mississippi as an Episcopalian and converted later in life to Catholicism. I am very much closer to the Lord now than I have ever been in my life.
